Reigned Pegasus

Reined Pegasus is a 3D installation piece that presents a winged horse flying out of a wall. The horse head is made out of steel that was welded together - my first attempt at welding, and the wings are clear acrylic paint palettes painted with spackle and modeling paste by a palette knife that create the feathers of the Pegasus. The placement of the Pegasus signifies that it is stuck in the wall, unable to freely move, symbolizing my confined mindset and therefore lack of creativity as an artist during unvarying and dreary times.
